About Kazhani · Since 2017

Cultivating food, community & hope

Kazhani Native Farms is a farmer-led agriculture and food ecosystem rooted in Tamil Nadu, working to reconnect people with farmers, food, farming and nature. A Sustainable Livelihood.

Our story

From farm produce to a living ecosystem

Kazhani began in 2017 with the desire to create a stronger and more meaningful connection between people, farmers, food and the land.

The work has grown beyond farm produce into native agriculture, traditional foods, farmer engagement, farm experiences, waste management, education, sustainability and community initiatives, all aimed at systems that support farmers, consumers, soil, biodiversity and communities together.

We don't want to be seen as just a vegetable seller, an online grocery or a consultancy, but as a living ecosystem people can take part in, not simply a company they buy from.

Mission

To build responsible and regenerative ecosystems that connect people, farmers, food, resources and nature, creating value for communities while nurturing nature.

Vision

A future where farmers thrive, native biodiversity flourishes, soil remains healthy, food is connected to its source, waste becomes a resource, and communities live in greater harmony with nature.
